Hello and welcome to Arête Dance Academy✨ Based in Sedbury, Chepstow and covering the South West and South Wales.

As the daughter of two professional dancers and teachers, I was fortunate enough to start dancing at a very young age, starting at just three years old. I know the power of dance the feeling it gives you, this is true of 3 year olds and 93 year olds.

In my first year of dancing, I was lucky enough to be chosen to be the Welsh Mascot at just 3 years of age and I led out the team at the Blackpool Tower, this was the start of the first of many visits to Blackpool as a competitor and a spectator.

After leaving school, I undertook a level 3 diploma in dance at Filton SGS college, shows were the highlight of my years I lived and breathed to be on the stage.

Throughout the years that I’ve been dancing I have competed in a variety of dance competitions across many styles– Ballroom, Latin American, Classical Sequence, Freestyle, Slow, Street and Rock ‘n’ Roll. Winning competitions across the UK, including many in Blackpool. As I got older, I also enjoyed competing in Pro Am competitions against competitors from all over the world at the Winter Gardens Blackpool.

I am a proud member of the UKA Dance Teachers Alliance, and am an Associate Teacher in Classical Sequence, Ballroom, Latin American and Rock ‘n’ Roll.

I can’t wait to welcome you into our school of dance, whichever style you choose, I just know you are going to love it.
